2025–2028

Project timeline

  1. Official start of StEDI

    The BioBlock Management Team project runs throughout the funding period and ensures governance compliance, roadmap execution, and community development.

  2. First BioBlock Call for Proposals

    The first open call invited community projects advancing FAIR data and decentralized collaboration. Read the archived call details.

  3. Start of CP1 and CP2

    BloKSI and dCoP were funded as part of the initial BioBlock proposal accepted in 2024.

  4. First BioBlock Great Council Meeting

    The community met at CIC Venture Café Berlin for proposal pitches, awards, and networking.

  5. Start of CP3, CP4, and CP5

    Community projects chosen and accepted at the first Great Council meeting begin their work.

  6. Second BioBlock Call for Proposals

    The second call is scheduled to begin in Q3/Q4 2026.
